With more than 14 years in the beauty industry, Owner and Founder Dk has worked hard to create something new that Rochester has never seen before. After spending 8 years in New York City she brings back a wealth of knowledge, finely tuned skills and insider insights to Rochester. She has worked with a multitude of big names, most notably Dior, Adidas and Canon. And touts a large collection of published works through out the years covering beauty, high fashion, editorial and film. She also brings her skills as a certified SFX artist, with skills you won’t see elsewhere in Rochester.
Since the beginning we have focused on obtaining the best of every style. Collectively we have over 30 years of experience. At our space you can feel just as comfortable asking for a clean natural look, as you could a glam red carpet ready look. We believe feeling beautiful inside & out should be for everyone. From a simple day to day look to the intricate looks of drag or high fashion. Black Adder is a SAFE SPACE, where anyone should feel comfortable.
As we add more products and services it will always be with inclusivity in mind. We use a high-low mentality when sourcing and will only carry products we believe in. That means ethically as well as effectively.
